These are some of the outhouses in my collection, and related
tacky items.

(From left to right)1) (back) "This here's the bathroom" hillbilly
plaque. Made by Three Mountaineers, and copyrighted 1943, they were made up
until a few years ago when the company closed it's doors. James' Grammy
actually worked there, and might of worked on this very one! 2)Log Cabin
match safe. It's lable Gents on one end, Ladies on the other, and the
"doors" are really the ends of a box of matches. 3)"Ma and Pa" salt and
pepper shakers. Made out of cedar, they are very common. You can find them
with the local tourist attraction or town stamped on them most times.
4)Cedar "Pay as you go" Stinky bank. 5) Moose Creek Crossing photo frame.
They don't make the series anymore, but they aren't hard to find.

1)Moose Creek Crossing "Nature Calls". I love this guy. 2)Coaster set by
Enesco. I think there were once bar tools hanging on the side hooks. I've
seen variations with other figures on them and slight changes.

1) "I'm full of S" and "I'm full of P" salt and pepper shakers. What is it
with outhouse salt and pepper shakers? Why would ANYONE want this on their
table near food??? 2)Port-a-potty bank. 3) "Squaws and Bucks" marble salt
and pepper shakers.

1) Santa in the outhouse (merry Christmas from Greg!), 2)"Who's in the John?"
plaque - you can take the appropriate family member and hang it in the
outhouse to let the family know where you are - almost as bad as a pager I
suppose. 3)Mary's Moo Moo's musical outhouse (with a cow inside!).

1)Outhouse music box, 2) the squirting hillbilly boy gag (James just loves
this one - sigh). I've seen variations of this with women, men, hillbillies,
minorities... I wonder how many different ones were made? 3)Paper outhouse,
4)March of Time mailable gag by Tootsietoy, 5)Electric toilet paper (corncob
with an electric cord by Ohio Collectables), 6) Hot Wheels car "the Hot Seat"
- looks like a toilet with a plunger for the steering wheel (and James is
upset he can't play with this one...), and 7), Cedar doorknocker plaque.

1) Chalkware salt and pepper set with "him" and "her" on them, 2) Kinder Surprise
outhouse (Kinder Surprise are chocolate eggs from everywhere but the USA that
have extremely cool toys in them), 3) Australian Dunny, in pewter. (Thanks
Charlene!!!).

Here are 3 variations on the "squirting gag" outhouses. You fill the base with
some water, and when someone opens the door, they get it. There are other
variations on this I don't have yet - even with women!

1) Green outhouse and catalog from the '50s I think, 2) Nude lady on outhouse
salt and pepper. Why would nude women be clinging to outhouses????

Seattle Washington "county seat". Made out of branches with a two-hole seat inside.

I'll be adding a link soon to a page with my chamber pots on
it. It's not a large collection (although I'm sure I own more than the
average American...), but I'm proud of what I have.
