This page is lovingly dedicated to my 92 year old granny -
she had the greatest bathroom in her log cabin (and she had indoor plumbing!!!).
She kept the greatest assortment of humorous cartoons, postcards and pictures
tacked all over the walls - you wanted to stay in there all day.
I've been collecting outhouse postcards and collectables
for a few years now - I currently have over 350 different cards, and variations on
several. I love the humorous postcards from the 1940's the best - they were
funny without being vulgar, and were delightfully corney in my opinion. My
favorite publishers were Curteich and Tichnor, but there are dozens of others.
